Politicians Dying

;So firstly, I have been following the Elena Kagan SCOTUS hearings, and I'm sure that years from now if I run for public office someone will dig this up from the internet graveyard and use it against me but SO. BE. IT.

My issue: Why is it breaking news when a 92 year old politician dies?

92-year-olds dying is normal. Perhaps they should have published a front-page new story every day he lived, because having been a democrat through the reagan era would have sent men half his age to an early grave.
